Hangtown Composite was formed in 2018 after it was determined we needed our own geographical area separate from the Spartans, which was the team our riders were initially assigned to. We started with 5 student athletes that season and our roster now has 16 student athletes and 8 adult ride leaders. Student athletes on our team attend El Dorado, John Adams Academy, Charter Connections Academy, Charter University Prep., Virtual Academy, and all homeschools in El Dorado County. We are a little different from the other Cycling Development teams in that we will try to hold our own practices on weeknights along the Highway 50 corridor from El Dorado Hills east to save on drive time to Granite Bay.
